How Pricing Works for One Way Rentals

One-way rentals sometimes carry a repositioning fee on top of the standard daily rate, since we need to get the vehicle back to its base location afterward. Whether a fee applies, and how much, depends entirely on the specific route and distance involved — a Kampala-to-Entebbe one-way is a very different case from a one-way drop-off at a remote park exit. We always quote this clearly before you book, with no surprises at drop-off.

How Far in Advance to Book

One-way rentals need more coordination than a standard round-trip rental, since we're planning around vehicle location and availability at both ends of your route. We recommend booking at least one to two weeks ahead where possible, especially in peak season (June–September and December–February), though we'll always try to accommodate shorter notice if a vehicle is available.
